Apple To Buy Beats, Redesign Headphones

CUPERTINO, CA -- Apple has annouced its plan to buy the Beats headphone company from Dr. Dre for $2 billion. "It's just a natural fit for us," said company spokesperson Maverick Iossa.

According to Iossa, the company plans to immediately redesign the headphones to be more in line with Apple's design aesthetic. "They're too big, and they go over your ear. We're picturing something more simple. Perhaps a white in-ear bud with a white cord and some sort of rectangular spot on the cord that you can use to answer the phone."

The newly redesign Apple Beats Headphones will retail for $299 and should be in stores this summer.
